Summertime is a great motivator to start working out. With bright, sunny skies it can make working out outside an enjoyable task. I know we all lead busy lives and it can be hard to fit working out into our already tight schedules, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t burn those extra calories. Eating healthy is a great way to keep off those extra pounds if you don’t have time to hit the gym everyday. PeopleĀ have this idea that eating healthy is boring because there aren’t a lot of options but that’s not the case. There are a variety of recipes you can choose from that are as equally delicious and healthy! I have listed a few of my favorite healthy snacks that’ll hopefully inspire you to eat healthy or come up with some of your own ideas!

Avocado doesn’t have that much of a taste but I find what I like is the creamy texture and the fattiness. Avocado is one of these goods fats that our body needs and I think it adds just a little something extra to some dishes. As for the apple chips, they are super simple to make. You’re going to preheat your oven to 225 degrees and cut apples into think circular slices leaving the skin on. Arrange them on a metal baking sheet and you can sprinkle them with a little cinnamon and sugar if you would like. I like to add salt to bring out the natural sweetness of the apples. Bake them for about 45 minutes to an hour, just until the apples are dried and the edges curl. I hope all of this helps and good luck on your quest to eating healthier!
