This weekend is the 15th Annual Buda Wiener Dog Races! A $3 entry fee is all you need to enjoy this fun festival and admire the dachshunds. The festival is fun, family friendly, and gives a lot of opportunity to watch the Best Dressed Dog Competition while also enjoying the community cook-off and bake-off. Check it out with your family!

2012 Reggae Festival

If you know me then you know I love Reggae music and this weekend is the 2012 Reggae Festival down at Auditorium Shores. What’s great about this festival (besides the music) is that it benefits the Capital Area Food Bank to help the hungry right here in Austin! Check it out this weekend.
Louisiana Swamp Thing & Crawfish Festival

As most of you know, I am a Louisiana girl at heart. This Saturday the 14th a little piece of home will be right here in Buda,TX for the Louisiana Swamp Thing & Crawfish Festival! Held from 11-11, this event will have over 7,000 lbs of crawfish and will have tons of cajun, funk, and blues music playing live! Yum! Check it out!

Tomorrow morning Auditorium Shores will be home to tens of thousands of dogs. Register your dog to be involved in the 14th Annual Mighty Texas Dog Walk benefiting the Texas Hearing & Service Dogs! You’ll be able to compete in various Guinness world records with your furry friend AND you’ll both get in a good jog!
The First Annual Taste of Circle C Home Show

Hello all,
Well, it has been awhile since I have been able to blog anything new. I have just been so busy meeting new people and getting them into their beautiful new homes! I just want to give everyone a little recap of what I was up to in January.
The First Annual Taste of Circle C Home Show went off without a hitch! This home show was sponsored by HomeBase (above) and provided vendors with the opportunity to get their small business out and into the public eye while also raising money for a local elementary school. We had over 40 vendors come and set up booths and we raised a good deal of money for Kiker Elementary School.
We also had a bike donation drop off at the home show that allowed neighborhood children to donate their used bikes to those children who needed bikes. What a great cause!
We also had fun family activities as well including a face painter that was so creative and even a balloon artist!
I even had the Remax hot air balloon come out to set up at the elementary school. The boy scouts even came by to help with the hot air balloon! Unfortunately, it was just too windy that Saturday to fully inflate, but the kids had a good time and were able to attend an informational seminar on how hot air balloons truly work from our Remax operator. Thank you so much to Troop 555 for coming out!
I had an amazing time preparing and participating in this home show. Many vendors already expressed how they would love to participate next year for the Second Annual Home Show and I can’t wait either!

Bras 4 A Cause

The WCR of Austin will be hosting the Bras 4 A Cause event benefiting the Breast Cancer Research Center of Austin on Tuesday, October 4th @ 7pm.
We are hoping to raise money, raise awareness and provide a little bit of laughter along the way!
We are still looking for a few more sponsors, so if you feel this is something you would be interested in let me know.
If you would like to purchase tickets or a table in honor/memory of a loved one (or anyone you know) affected by breast cancer, please contact me and I would love to help you out.

Successful Fan Drive with the Austin Board of Realtors!

I recently participated in hosting a successful Austin Board of Realtors Fan Drive. We collected over 36 fans to give to senior citizens and those in need. Donations were delivered to the elderly care center located on Hancock Drive.
