Scholarship Opportunity
The Austin Board of REALTORS® (ABoR) Foundation is thrilled to announce that applications are now available for the annual scholarship program. Graduating high school seniors and home-schooled students are encouraged to apply to help off-set the cost of higher education.
To be eligible for consideration, students must be citizens of the United States; planning to pursue higher education at a Texas college, university, technical or trade school; and a resident of one of the following counties: Travis, Williamson, Lee, Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Blanco or Burnet. Applications are available online and must be mailed or hand delivered in person by March 16 at 5:00 p.m. to Shirley Williams in the ABoR Education Department.
In 2011, the ABoR Foundation awarded fourteen $2,000 scholarships, plus additional scholarships in amounts ranging from $1,000 to $4000. Spread the word to deserving graduates—they don’t want to miss this opportunity!
Scholarships will be presented at the ABoR Foundation Scholarship Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, May 9 from 3:00 – 5:30 p.m. at the Shoal Crossing Event Center. For more information, contact Shirley by email or at 512-454-7636, ext. 1603.
