Many Artist will be in town and we’ll be able to see Coldplay, Lady Gaga, 50 Cent and Soundgarden at the South By Southwest Music Conference, which runs from March 11–16 this year! In honor of Father’s Day the Austin Symphonic Band will be giving a free concert in Zilker Park tonight at 7:30pm. Bring a picnic basket and spread out a blanket under the Pecan trees at the Hillside Theatre and enjoy this unique event with your dad!

10th Annual Adult Spelling Bee
I have always been a big supporter of education and literacy programs in Austin. When I heard about this event I thought ‘what a cool competition’ and just had to share!
So you think you’re smarter than a 5th grader? Here’s your chance to prove it at the 10th Annual Adult Spelling Bee tomorrow night at Threadgills. The best part is that the proceeds benefit the Austin Public Library.
